Volunteer Positions for The Crib
The following are volunteer positions for The Crib. This is a largely volunteer organization and your help is essential and appreciated.
These volunteer positions are designed to be flexible to fit your schedule, and to be manageable in a few hours a week or month, depending on the position. You are welcome and encouraged to recruit and manage additional volunteers to help you when necessary, and The Crib will help you with this whenever possible. Some of the positions below may already be filled, but we are always open to additional assistance. We are also open to volunteers who have less time to commit that is detailed in the positions below. We can always find a place for you and appreciate any amount of help.
Having a background in the area you are volunteering is a plus, but having a desire and commitment to learn is all you need. In addition to the responsibilities associated with each position, we will have monthly meetings where we can touch base, share ideas, get help where needed, and stay inspired about the difference we are making in people’s lives. We request that you do your utmost to attend a minimum of 10 of the 12 meetings annually. Childcare will be provided at the meetings.
If any of these positions appeal to you, or if you are not ready to take on a regular position but would like to volunteer in other ways when possible, please contact Andrea Templeton at 240-431-8225 or andrea@cribhome.org.
