A parent who finds themselves alone and in crisis will undoubtedly feel overwhelmed by the uncertainty of their future.  The Crib is a place where single parents in critical situations can go to find support and encouragement.   The Crib is a caring community committed to empowering parents in crisis situations.  We currently offer Case Management services to single parents in critical situations in St. Mary’s County, Maryland.  Our goal is to provide these individuals with the resources they need to be successful parents and successful people.  A parent who has the courage to raise their baby alone has the strength to be a role model for both their child and community.  

The Crib is intended to have a multigenerational impact; each parent who successfully completes the program will see its effects on their own life and on the life of their child.  By taking action now, we can create a cycle of hope and success for future generations.
