We appreciate your interest in supporting The Crib.  There are a variety of ways you can get involved with our programs; please choose the one that fits you best.

 Financial Support

 

If you would like to make a financial donation, you can donate through PayPal to donations@cribhome.org or by clicking the link at left.  Checks can be made out to The Crib and mailed to:  P.O. Box 951, California, MD 20619.  All donations are tax deductible. 

 

In-Kind Donations

·        The Crib is accepting donations of  gently used baby/maternity items (i.e. toys, clothes, high chairs).   If you have items you would like to donate, please contact us at: donations@cribhome.org

 

·        As the saying goes, “there’s no place like home,” and The Crib is helping single parents decorate and furnish their homes.  We are accepting household items (i.e. dishes, lamps, curtains) and decorating tools (i.e. paint, brushes, painter’s tape).  Please contact us at: donations@cribhome.org

 

·        You can donate your yard-salable items to The Crib and receive a tax write off for all your stuff.  The Crib will be holding sales regularly to raise money for our programs.

 

Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for volunteers.  No matter how much (or how little) time you have to volunteer, we have opportunities for you.

 

Current volunteers opportunities:

·        Babysitting our participants children during bi-monthly fitness class

·        Educators – have a hobby or skill you think young moms would enjoy learning?  We’ll set up a class for you.

·        Administrative – including managing mailing lists, scheduling programs

·        Media management – update our web page, MySpace, and Facebook accounts

·        Raising funds – lots of opportunities here.  Grant writing, event planning or just helping with a mailing.
